South Mumbai

We went to South Mumbai after Amritsar. Mumbai is also sometimes called Bombay, which is the word the British used for it when they colonized the country; Bombay means ‘good bay’ in Portuguese. The name might have come from when the Portuguese originaly traded there. We stayed here for a few days and we walked around the area; we saw some really cool buildings! We walked along Marine Drive, a beautiful walk along the sea. We also went to an Indian ice cream shop and had some yummy kulfi. We went to some amazing restaurants; we had some delicious seafood!
